This case for the redetermination of a deficiency, presently set for trial during the Las Vegas, Nevada, trial session scheduled to begin on November 6, 2023, is before the Court on respondent's motion for continuance, filed September 20, 2023. Giving due regard to the representations contained in the motion, it is

ORDERED that respondent's motion is set for hearing at the place shown in the Notice Setting Case for Trial, served June 15, 2023, at a time and date certain of 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. It is further

ORDERED that the parties are excused from appearing on November 6, 2023, as previously directed and need not comply with the terms and conditions set forth in the Standing Pretrial Order, served June 15, 2023.

The Court is inclined to grant the motion. At the hearing the parties should be prepared to advise the Court as to future actions each intends to take to prepare the case for trial or resolve it without the need for trial.
