MOTION DECISION

PRESENT: Hon. Sallie Manzanet-Daniels, Justice Presiding, Angela M. Mazzarelli Lizbeth González Martin Shulman Julio Rodriguez III, Justices.

Defendant-respondent having moved for reargument of, or in the alternative, for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeals, from the decision and order of this Court, entered on March 10, 2022 (Appeal No. 15495) [M-2022-01486], And, by separate motions, Advance Publications, Inc. and 21 other media organizations [M-2022-01597], Catherine Reddington and Maria Kim [M-2022-01598], the Legal Momentum, Equal Rights Advocates and the National Women's Law Center [M-2022-01607] and New York State Senator Brad Hoylman [M-2022-01601] having moved for leave to file amicus curiae briefs in support of defendant's motion, Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motions, and due deliberation having been had thereon,

It is ordered that the separate motions by the amici curiae seeking leave to file amicus curiae briefs in support of defendant's motion are granted and the proposed briefs accepted for consideration on defendant-respondent's motion, and

It is further ordered that the branch of defendant-respondent's motion seeking reargument of the aforesaid order of this Court entered on March 10, 2022 (Appeal No. 15495) is denied, and

It is further ordered that the branch of defendant's motion seeking leave to appeal to the Court of Appeals is granted, and this Court, pursuant to CPLR 5713, certifies that the following question of law, decisive of the correctness of its determination, has arisen, which in its opinion ought to be reviewed by the Court of Appeals:
