In light of the enactment of United States Public Law No. 115 264, the “Orrin G. Hatch-Bob Goodlatte Music Modernization Act,” resolution of the questions posed by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is no longer “necessary to . . . settle an important question of law.” (Cal. Rules of Court, rule 8.548(f)(1).) We therefore dismiss consideration of the questions. (See Cal. Rules of Court, rules 8.528(b)(1), 8.548(f)(3).)
