JAMES H. FETZER, Petitioner v. COMMISSIONER OF INTERNAL REVENUE, Respondent

ORDER

Kathleen Kerrigan Chief Judge.

On September 3, 2024, attorney William Sumner Scott filed a document titled Limited Entry of Appearance for petitioner James H. Fetzer. That document, however, is not a proper Limited Entry of Appearance and, furthermore, at this time a Limited Entry of Appearance may not properly be filed in this case. Accordingly, Mr. Scott may not be recognized as petitioner's counsel at this time. If Mr. Scott wishes to file an appropriate Entry of Appearance, a form for that purpose is available on the Court's website, www.ustaxcourt.gov, by choosing "eFiling & Case Maintenance" and clicking on "Case Related Forms".

On September 13, 2024, Mr. Scott filed on behalf of petitioner a "Motion for Lift from Seal" to which is appended a status report with attachments concerning the current status of this case.

Upon due consideration of the foregoing, it is

ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court shall copy pages 8 through 132 (a document titled "Fetzer Second Status Report") of the above-referenced Motion, filed September 13, 2024, and file them as of that same date as petitioner's Status Report. It is further

ORDERED that the above-referenced Limited Entry of Appearance, filed September 3, 2024, and Motion for Lift from Seal, filed September 13, 2024, are stricken from the Court's record in this case.
