Criminal law — Soliciting charitable funds — Solicitor — Failure to register with Department of State — Acts of May 13, 1925, P. L. 644 and June 5, 1947, P. L. 474.
1. Under the Act of May 13, 1925, P. L. 644, § 7(a), as amended by the Act of June 5, 1947, P. L. 474, a person who solicits funds for a charity without first registering with the Department of State and who earns more than $150 per year from such solicitation is a violation of the Act.
2. The sale of advertising for benevolent purposes is included within the Act of May 13, 1925, P. L. 644, § 1, as amended.
