The reporter's record in this appeal was filed August 16, 2023, two days before appellant's corrected brief was due. Because the deadline for filing an appellant's brief does not begin to run until the appellate record is complete, appellant's original brief was premature and a corrected brief did not need to be filed. Accordingly, we STRIKE appellant's July 21, 2023 brief and August 18, 2023 corrected brief, VACATE our July 26, 2023 deficient brief notice along with our July 28, 2023 order extending the time for filing the corrected brief, and RESET the deadline for filing appellant's brief to September 15, 2023.
We DENY appellant's August 17, 2023 extension motion as moot.
