NO. 2018 CW 1539
12-11-2018
In Re: Dell Inc. and Dell Marketing, L.P., applying for supervisory writs, 19th Judicial District Court, Parish of East Baton Rouge, No. 582,741. BEFORE: WHIPPLE, C.J., McCLENDON AND HIGGINBOTHAM, JJ.
WRIT DISMISSED. La. R.S. 51:135 specifically provides for an immediate appeal of an interlocutory judgment related to antitrust claims. Additionally, the trial court took this matter under advisement and later issued the court's ruling in a minute entry. Thus, the court was required to render a written judgment pursuant to La. C.C.P. art. 1914(B). See CamSoft Data Systems, Inc. v. Southern Electronics Supply, Inc., 2015-0881 (La. App. 1 Cir. 7/14/15), 180 So.3d 382, 383. Once a judgment is signed, the parties may appeal pursuant to La. R.S. 51:135.
