GEORGE BRYAN, Appellant v. WILLIAM BECKER INDIVIDUALLY AND AS TRUSTEE OF THE WILLIAM E. BECKER FAMILY TRUST AND SCOPE AUTOMOTIVE L.L.C., Appellees

On Appeal from the 95th District Court Dallas County, Texas
Trial Court Cause No. DC-20-08362

ORDER

Before the Court is appellant's March 19, 2021 status report on the parties' mediation and unopposed second motion requesting a thirty-day extension of time to file his brief on the merits in this accelerated appeal. We GRANT the motion and extend the deadline for appellant's brief to April 26, 2021. We caution appellant that further extension requests will be disfavored.

The parties failed to reach a settlement at their mediation on March 4th. Although appellant states in his motion that he "believes continued efforts by the mediator could result in resolution of this matter," he does not state that the parties have scheduled further mediation. --------
