ORDER

On August 17, 2023, respondent filed with the Court a Motion to Dismiss for Failure to Properly Prosecute. This case was called from the calendar of the Court's Boston, Massachusetts Trial Session on September 18, 2023. There was no appearance by or on behalf of petitioner. Counsel for respondent appeared and was heard. The Court set the case for recall the following day. At the Court's request, the trial clerk called petitioner and left a voicemail informing petitioner of the recall.
This case was recalled from the calendar on September 19, 2023. Petitioner and counsel for respondent appeared and were heard. During recall, counsel Angela Divaris from the Greater Boston Legal Services appeared and filed an Entry of Appearance for petitioner. Counsel for petitioner orally moved to continue the case. Counsel for respondent had no objection. After due consideration and for cause more fully appearing in the transcript of the proceeding, it is
ORDERED that jurisdiction is retained by the undersigned. It is further
ORDERED that petitioner's oral Motion for Continuance is granted and this case is continued. It is further
ORDERED that, on or before October 19, 2023, the parties shall file a joint status report informing the Court as to the then-present status of this case.
