Bossier Parish School Board v. Guste

Supreme Court of Louisiana
Feb 24, 1978
355 So. 2d 1323 (La. 1978)

Opinion

No. 61609.

February 24, 1978.

In re: Jackie Martin and Fred E. Shewmake, Jr., applying for certiorari, or writ of review, to the Court of Appeal, Second Circuit. Parish of Bossier.

Writ denied.

DENNIS, J., would grant the writ.

TATE, J., is of the opinion that the school board's policy may be an abuse of its great discretion because of the strong legislative policies designed to permit school teachers and personnel to participate in elective government.
