On July 25, 2023, the parties filed a Joint Status Report informing the Court of the current status of this case. This case is a captive insurance case and is related to several other cases docketed with this Court, some of which are still in IRS's Independent Office of Appeals for settlement consideration. The report states that the parties anticipate consolidating all the related cases for trial, briefing and opinion, if a trial is necessary.
Upon due consideration, it is
ORDERED that on or before January 31, 2024, the parties shall file a joint status report (or separate reports, if preferred) regarding the then-present status of this case.
